Strategy
Without a communications strategy your business is working in the dark. A strategy is like a great map; you know where you're going, but you can also take some interesting side roads when you need to. Articulating clear messages is key to a successful brand, to effective media relationships, and to a committed workforce.
Communications
Some of our best work has been keeping people OUT of the media, so we can't even tell you about it. But we've done plenty to get our clients into the media and that comes from being ex-journalists and editors. We know how the media works. And we media train as well so you can be confident with media.
Marketing & Brand
We believe there are three aspects to brand marketing. There's the visual brand like a logo. There's brand perception which is what your audience believes about you. And there's the breathing brand which is you and your staff and the interaction with your audience. All three need to align for a marketing to be successful.
Thinking strategically about your business

The 'plastic waka' opening at the waterfront for Rugby World Cup 2011. This was one of the most visited attractions during the final days of the cup with over 400,000 visitors. Ten days of live entertainment, a Maori rugby display, 3D theatre and traditional food.

Science Communication
Scientists have a unique communications challenge. Often dealing with complex and important ideas, getting messages across to a more general audience, and especially through media, takes skill and an understanding of how messages are received. It's often about storytelling. It's helping people hook into an idea by giving them something familar to relate to. And that's something we're very good at.
